The construction of Marine Custom Complex at Tanjung Surat was completed on the 30th November 2007. It was completed on schedule ( 1st Dec 06 till 30th Nov 07 ) and one of the components of Southern Integrated Gateway under Section 5. The complex costing RM 13.2 m is to replace the existing complex at Tanjung Puteri , Johor.

A simple ceremony at the said complex to hand over the keys and defects inspection was held at 10.00am on the 26th February 2008. It involved a short briefing, inspection of defects signing relevant documents and lastly handing over of the keys.

JKR GSB was represented by Ir. Dzarif bin Yaacob, Construction General Manager ( Road & Bridge ) , Royal Malaysian Custom by Tuan Romainor bin Sarif, Deputy Director ( Prevention ) and Gerbang Perdana by En. Nasaruddin bin Jaffar , General Manager.

Official handing over will be held at a later date.
