On Friday, 11 th May, 2007 , the Mayor of Johor
Bahru, Y.Bhg. Dato' Md Naim Bin Nasir made a working
visit to Gerbang Perdana (GP) Head Office to attend
a Landscape Briefing on Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu
(GSB) Project.
Managing Director of GP, YB Dato' Yahya A. Jalil
was on hand to welcome the Mayor and his entourage
from Johor Bahru Town Council (MBJB), which included
the Secretary of MBJB, Tn. Hj. Hairudin Md. Amin
and the Chief Engineer, Tn. Hj. Sulaiman bin Mohamad
Taib.
Besides the officials from MBJB, the briefing comprises
representatives from the Landscape Consultant Cypark
and Senior Management of GP.
The briefing commenced at 4.15p.m. with a digital
animation video walk-through of GSB Project and Project
Progress presentation by the Finance Director of
GP, Tn. Hj. Azahar Abdul Aziz. This was followed
by a Power Point presentation on the landscape proposal
for the entire GSB project particularly Jalan Tun
Razak, which was conducted by Cik Norliza Mohd Yusof
of Cypark.
In summary, this briefing received a very favorable
response from the Mayor and he hopes the proposal
will help realize the Johoreans' overall goal of
becoming a developed Southern Gateway of Asia.
Before departing, the Mayor was presented with a
memento by YB Dato' Yahya.
The Mayor and his officials bade farewell at 6.30p.m.
